RSSU School Champions’ Cup Is Over the Hump

Over half the distance of the RSSU School Champions’ Cup of the Moscow Open has been completed.

After five rounds Satbek Akhmetdinov (Kazakhstan) and Robert Safin (Naberezhnye Chelny) have suffered no losses in the U9 Boys’ competition. Stepan Prokhorov (Lipetsk), Leonid Lystsov (Pyatigorsk), Matvei Nikolaev (Leninogorsk) and Roman Sumilin (Moscow) are a half-point behind the leaders.

Emilia Zavivaeva (Nizhny Novgorod) and Amina Kairbekova (Kazakhstan) have 5 points each in the tournament of the youngest girls. Alisa Surovtseva (Togliatti), Meirzhan Karataykyzy (Kazakhstan), Polina Novozhilova (Ivanovo), Anna Krupnova (Moscow), Mariya Alekseenko (Khanty-Mansiysk), Dana Alimova (Orel) and Elina Yusupova (Nizhnevartovsk) have one point less.

Rudik Makarian (Moscow) and Aleksandr Kataev (Apatity) have a 100% result in the tournament among U11 Boys. Aleksey Mukaev (Kazan), Aleksandr Ivlev (Moscow) and Kazybek Nogerbek (Kazakhstan) have gained 4,5 points.

Taisiya Tereshechkina from Moscow is leading with a 100% result in the competitions among U11 Girls. Ekaterina Karaseni (Moscow), Eva Stepanyan (Stavropol region) and Uliana Bereda (Saratov) are a half-point behind the leader.

Several athletes managed to get 4,5 points in the U13 Boys Tournament. Vladislav Rovnov (Chita), Mikhail Pesotsky (Moscow), Danila Pavlov (Volgograd) and Kirill Shubin (Vladivostok) are among them. Ten players are half a step behind the leaders’ group.

Aleksandra Maltsevskaya (Volgograd) won all her games in the group of U13 Girls. Marta Voskresenskaya (Surgut) has 4,5 points.

Rinat Fakhretdinov (Salavat) has 5 points in the U15 Boys tournament. Aleksandr Makarenko (Alekseevka) and Aisen Mestnikov (Yakutsk) trail the leader by half a point.

Anna Khristenko (Kurganinsk) and Irina Barbaeva (Ust-Ordynsky) with 4,5 points are leading  in the U15 Girls Tournament. Yana Spiridonova (Kazan) has 4 points.

But it's not over yet. The participants of the competitions still have 4 rounds ahead of them.
