A full report of day one of the children's tournament of the Moscow Open Festival, the RSSU School Champions’ Cup was prepared by the press-service of Russian State Social University.
Jan 30, young chess players met in the RSSU to compete for the main prize – the RSSU Cup. However, before the kids sat at the boards they were audience and participants of the festival show. The opening ceremony of the children’s tournament started of with a lively drum show by the band Night Beat. The performance of circus artists Yury and Iolanta Dorofeev with their trained poodles was comical and spectacular. The fluffy circus actors won the hearts of the audience with their masterful tricks.
