BK Liga Stavok Comes to Moscow Open – 2015 for Chess

January 26, 2015
BK Liga Stavok Comes to Moscow Open – 2015 for Chess

This years general partner for the international RSSU Cup, Moscow Open – 2015 is Liga Stavok, the first Russian bookmaker company to officially announce intentions to cooperate in developing chess in Russia.

“Popularizing the chess movement, renewing interest and developing the best chess traditions—those are the tasks now unifying the leading sports organizations, authorities and businesses. I'm glad for the opportunity to count myself among those who are enabling the development of chess in Russia and returning this sport to its former status,” says BK Liga Stavok Poxhotny president Oleg Zhuravsky.

A partnership with major chess federations also effectively develops Pervaya Self-Regulating bookmaker Organization of Bookmakers of Russian (Pervaya SRO) – noncommercial partnership of the largest companies, whose sphere of professional activity is determining standards and rules for bookmaker branches. This year Pervaya SRO announced its partnership with FIDE and RCF as part of a global strategy to cooperate with major sports organizations in matters of control and prevention of corruption in sports. By mutual consent, Pervaya SRO will actively monitor bets for chess tournaments with the goal of unmasking suspicious tendencies and thus encourage honest tournament conduct.

The partnership agreement of Liga Stavok includes the opening a line for the RSSU Chess Cup, Moscow Open – 2015. Follow each step of the battle on the tournament site and place bets wisely!
