On the participant list of the Moscow Open – 2015 Cup of Russia Stage, which begins this Saturday at RSSU, are three grandmasters above the 2700 mark for the prefix “super.” They are silver medalist of the World Blitz Championship Ian Nepomniachtchi (2714, Russia), supertournament regular Francisco Vallejo (2706, Spain) and Russian Champion Igor Lysyj (2700, Russia). More than 250 chess players are participating in the tournament.

The Women's Cup of Russia stage rating favorites are World Womens Junior Champion Aleksandra Goryachkina (2451), Georgian Womens Champion Nino Batsiashvili (2450) and winner of the 2012 Russian Womens Championship Higher League Baira Kovanova (2405). More than 100 chess players will be competing.
